Compare more than a name on a list
Make a note of the practitioner, clinic, insurance answer, travel distance, and the first available appointment for each option. If your network has few choices, ask your insurer what process it uses for a network gap or an out-of-network request, and get its answer in writing. Our guide to finding and evaluating a prosthetist explains credentials, second opinions, and what to ask when the network is thin.
What we're building
The directory will list clinics with ABC- and BOC-certified practitioners, drawn from public NPPES and CMS data. Each listing will show the clinic's name, address, phone number, NPI, and whether they're enrolled as a Medicare DMEPOS supplier. No advertising, no paid placement.
We expect to cover all 50 states. Where there are enough clinics, we'll add city-level pages. We'll note the date each listing was last updated from the source data, and we'll link credential verification directly to the ABC and BOC lookup tools.
